The Safe Trader Scheme is operated by Lancashire County Council’s Trading Standards Service.
It is not an approval scheme but is a register of businesses in the county that have signed up to our code of practice.
Trading Standards and partner agencies promote the scheme to help consumers find a reputable trader.
If you are a business that offers good customer service, trades fairly and honestly and is reliable you can apply for membership to Lancashire County Council’s Safe Trader Scheme.
